Yes, Webflow is a CMS. It can be described as a hybrid between CMS and website builder. The core function is the website builder. Nevertheless, the CMS is very powerful and easy to use.

For us as long-time users, there is little that speaks against Webflow. The individual case must always be considered. For example, Webflow is not suitable if you want a powerful e-commerce system. Here we would always recommend Shopify, because this product is much more mature. However, Webflow can still serve as a basis and then be converted into a Shopify template in a conversion process.

Yes, we can connect and integrate pretty much anything that is common market standard. Our programmers work far beyond the limitations of Webflow and usually leave no wish unfulfilled.

Based on our expertise, we decidedly recommend Webflow. Some of the outstanding advantages are:

Yes, Webflow is free to use. However, the functions are limited. For example, the free plan does not allow you to add custom code, which is often needed. For example, only 50 CMS entries can be created, additionally the number of visitors is limited to 1 thousand users (per month). There are some more restrictions, like maximum 50 form submits. So, apart from that, if you just want to test it, it is recommended to sign up for a plan. These start at 14$ and go up to 39$, except for Enterprise. In the Basic plan no CMS entries can be created. If this is a priority, the CMS plan is recommended. The Businesss Plan is only worthwhile if you reach the limit of CMS entries. In this plan up to 10 thousand entries are possible.

You can't always say that across the board, and it depends a lot on the client's cooperation. But the projects listed in my portfolio last between one and three months.
